 EASA Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

UK Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

The Private Pilot Licence (PPL) enables you to fly throughout Europe and take passengers with you. Whether you fancy a simple sightseeing flight in the local area or a weekend in France, the PPL covers all these options.

The Private Pilot Licence can be an achievement in itself or used as a stepping stone to further commercial licences and a career as a pilot.

Experience or Requirements

You do not need prior experience to start a PPL course. All you need is the enthusiasm for flying and a willing to learn.

Theoretical knowledge examinations

There are 9 theoretical ground examinations. You will receive all of the books required for the examinations so that you can study at home. Ground school is also offered as and when required. Our team of experienced instructors will be on hand to support you throughout.

All ground examinations will be taken at Go Fly Oxford via the CAA website portal.
