Go Fly Oxford has three convenient locations for you to train at. Hinton Airfield in Northamptonshire is where our main office is located, Lydd Airport in Kent is where our commercial training takes place, with our third base in Almeria Airport in the South Spain, offering a good weather location for PPL’s and Hours Building courses to take place in a shorter, more intensive, time period.
These locations combined, cover the catchment areas of Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Kent and Surrey in the UK along with local Spainish towns in the South of Spain.
Hinton Airfield, Northamptonshire
Hinton Airfield was Go Fly Oxfords’ first location and is primarily a PPL and hours building base. We have both the Piper PA28 aircraft and Cessna 150 aircraft based here and it offers easy access to much of the UK from the air, being conveniently located on the border of Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire
Lydd Airport, Kent
Lydd Airport is Go Fly Oxfords’ second base. Here we undertake mainly the commercial training, CPL, IR and MEP courses, but also do PPL and Hours Building from Lydd too. We have a Piper fleet based at Lydd, with the PA-28 warrior/Cherokee and the PA-28 arrow, with plans to add a Piper Seneca later this year.
Almeria Airport, Spain
Almeria Airport offers Go Fly Oxford a good weather location which enables us to offer intensive courses for PPL’s and Hours Building opportunities throughout the year. We have the Piper PA28 aircraft based in Almeria which is the perfect aircraft to start your flying adventure or to do some hours building over the south coast of Spain, with room for friends in the back too!
